So it's been a week since Davies was kicked off the cougars, where is he going to end up? He would be a nice pick up for the cats, but did we even recruit him? I heard that USU was in the recruiting wars for him.

Stays at the Y. I've heard through the grapevine that he will be able to play next season. Case in point, he was on the bench of the BYU game today... in a shirt and tie.
 
He is off the team for now. He has not asked fo be released and has not been granted a release. He is not recruitable in this circumstance.

The most likely thing is that he stays with YBU.

We wnated him out of highschool, and thought we had a chance at him. He had stars in his eyes, and chose YBU... Its all good... I'm sure that if he were to contact our coaches, they would listen to him. No coaches are allowed to contact him in his current situation. It would be an NCAA violation. Nobody really knows the nature of his honor code violation either. Some of those violations may keep some coaches away, even if he gets released from his obligation. I just hope, for his sake, that he can get things striat, and get on with the life he wants to lead.
