BREAKING NEWS: Jesse Hoffman signs with....

Wow, that is great news. Also, saw that JC had three more tackles and Peach had 2 sacks as Edmonton moves to 4-0 in the CFL. Wish I could get to Vancouver when Edmonton plays the BC Lions but not possible due to work etc. Have a conflict on Sep 2 so won't be able to watch Jesse and his Seahawk teammates face Taiwan and the Raiders in the last exhibition game of the year in Seattle. We're able to leave early Saturday morning for our 4:00 pm season opener at Husky Stadium. See you in Seattle.
 
Anyone know how Jesse's been doing in camp? Also noticed Chase Reynolds from Montana signed with the Hawks around the same time. Hopefully both get a shot to make the team.
 
For all the talk about losing Taiwan Jones and JC Sherritt, I think Hoffman will be the single most -missed player from last year's squad. You very seldom see NFL-quality corners at the FCS level... Montana and Cal Poly each have someone this year as well.

And Tyler Jolley will be missed more than we realize now.
 
And he was originally recruited to play RB for the Eags.......in fact I think he did play a year or two at that position. Pretty cool mention in that article that he still holds some state records.
 
Has anyone heard anything more about how Jesse is doing? Is he going to get any playing time tonight? What is his number?
 
On two rosters I have seen him as #4 and #44. The Seahawk Nation blog has Jesse #4 (and rookie linebacker Vuna Tuihalamaka #44). The ESPN roster has Jesse #44 and placekicker Brandon Coutu #4?)
If you see #4 placekicking it probably isn't Jesse!
 
J Hoff is in #44. He's in right now, just saw him get in on the tail end of a play. Happy for the guy, hopefully he gets a chance to show his worth.

Too good an athlete to not play somewhere this fall, hopefully lands on a practice squad at least. I wonder if anyone in college football will return three kicks for scores this season. Tough to replace Jesse but looks good so far, we will know more this weekend.
