Yes, USC has some impressive wins. Looked to see if we played anyone they played and this is the best I could muster. We beat UC Davis by one goal. UC Davis barely lost to NCAA bound Long Beach State 2-1. Long Beach State beat USC 1-0. In the soccer world that accounts for something which is.. we should be able to play with USC. We need to play great "D" vs a high scoring USC team and counter attack taking advantage of any opportunities. Look at our shot output vs NAU 23-4 so EWU is playing good ball...need to finish our chances and limit USC's. GO EAGS!

UCLA is ranked #11 in the final poll and won the national championship just three years ago. It's safe to say they are very, very good.
We'll probably wind up playing deep in our end most of the game. It'll be very important to be clinical on the few counters we get. It'll be equally important for the back line to keep them out of our box. I've watched the team play a few times this year, and we really haven't been forced to play without much possession. So this will likely be something totally different. We'll have to channel our inner Atletico in the style they keep using against Bayern.
It's a tough spot, and would be a massive upset, but it's not impossible.
