• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Big Sky Conference voters show no love for Valeika for Defensive Player of the Year. PSU's Morrison won the award with a season average of 6.1 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, and 0.7 steals. Valeika averaged 10 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and 0.7 steals. Morrison's & Valeika's season-high for blocks in a game was 6, for rebounds Valeika had 20 rebounds (twice) and 11 for Morrison.

Art was a definite option, but I'm sure the league didn't even look at Brody (Oh thats right he only held in check the best guards in the conference: Taylor, Stucki, Martin, Wison, McGee, and even that Dominguez kid)... Defensive Player of the Year award doesn't have anything to do with Offensive stats. Morrison couldn't stop Landry or Art... He had a hard time stopping strait and banks. Not to mention Mbunga!! That is total Bull nutterbutter that he got the Defensive Player of the Year Award...

When i heard it was Morrison, I almost dropped a load in my drawers. There are at least 5 better defensive players than him, probably 10

For the Big Sky Tourny... Weber State has had forty players earn all-tournament honors and 7 awarded the M.V.P: Jimmie Watts 1976, Bruce Collins 1978, 1979, & 1980, Ruben Nembhard 1995, Eddie Gill 1999, Jermaine Boyette 2003 & David Patten 2007.
