BSC Games Today and Playoffs

Maybe this has already been covered but I could not find an update to the potential BSC teams making the playoffs.

The way I see it:
1) EAGS in (BSC champions)
2) MSU in regardless of outcome today (share title with EAGS with a win over UM)
3) UM in with a win, out with a loss
4) ISU in with a win and a UM loss? (the two lower division wins might be an anchor)
5) NAU out regardless of win or loss (strength of schedule?)

I would really like to see ISU in instead of UM because I think ISU deserves it. I also think MSU will beat UM today. Just my thoughts.

1.) EWU - Already locked up the auto
2.) MSU - Should be in regardless of the UM game (I think MSU will win).
3.) UM - Yup, in with a win, out with a loss.
4.) ISU - I think they are out regardless of what happens with Weber. Their resume isn't strong enough.
5.) NAU - I think there's a chance they could get it, but only if Montana loses. Which would make them the #3 from the Big Sky.

I think the Big Sky gets three in either way: EWU, MSU...Montana if they win, and possibly NAU if Montana loses. I just can't see only two Big Sky teams getting into the playoffs.

Hard to say, but if I was on the committee:
ISU won't make it regardless.... 6 D1 wins (with Weber win)
NAU in with a win
MSU and UM in with UM win (not happening today though)

Who wants a UM team with a lame duck coach? Not sold on the CAA, top three only, as they have looked pretty average; but would take as many out of MVC as meet the 7 D1 win criteria. Probably 5 make the cut.

Who knows? Go Eags!

The paper chickens go down! This is all shaping up very, very, nicely.

totally agree....so what 1 point loss looks better or worse in the eyes of the committee since neither team we lost to was ranked at the time...ours or CC's?
personally right now I am going for a NAU win so it will look better. Plus we had VA out for the game so I can see us getting a more favorable seed. Plus no comittee member likes to see losses on the last week.

When it's all said and done, I think we have a very strong case for a 3-4 seed, with wins over:

- A Playoff bound MSU
- A Playoff bound and Southland Champs SHSU
- A A strong ISU bubble team in ISU
- A narrow loss at a P5 school
- A one point loss on the road without our superstar QB

If Montana wins today, we'll have three wins over playoff bound teams and another that is on the bubble.

We really need Montana and NAU to win today to make our case look even better.
