Some early speculation for the conference tourney.
I think (hope) that we'll win out this week and pull the seven seed.
That said, I think we'll play Sac State on the 7th. We match up well with them and should get by them. Their somewhat close proximity to the tournament site shouldn't be much of a home court.
That should put us against the two seed that will most likely be Montana. I don't see us taking that game, but stranger things have happened. They rolled us pretty hard out in Missoula, but we didn't look too terrible at home against them. Neutral court in Reno, who knows.
Let's say the impossible happens and we advance. I suspect that we'll face the winner of the Idaho schools, and I'll go with Idaho advancing to face us. We didn't suck too bad against the Vandals this year in our two losses, so perhaps the impossible and improbable both strike this year; back to back.
On to the championship game.
Weber State should run through their bracket to meet us. At this point, Bolomboy's double-double average will have worn him out, and Randy Rahe will have been drafted into service at the Lollipop Guild, so he'll be unavailable for the championship game. Portland State moves on.
Look out Kansas...
