Since WILDCAT hasn't jumped on this already, I decided I will.

ISU vs. Sac State–N/A
SUU vs. Montana State–N/A

•Thursday 3/9
Portland St. vs. North Dakota–1,513
Montana vs. Idaho–1,762
Sac State vs. E. Washington–1,903
SUU vs Weber State–1,903

Tournament Total: 8,588
Tournament Average: 1,718 (23% of 7,500)

I couldn't find the numbers for ISU-Sac St., SUU-Montana St., or SUU-Weber State on ESPN, but I did find the Weber State attendance on their full season PDF stat sheet (just check Weberstatesports.com). If anyone can find those numbers please feel free to add to this.

I wasn't there last night, but from what I could see from the feed, there was no way that there was more than 500 folks at the game last night. That stadium was empty.

Right. Attendance numbers are always inflated. They include every "body" in the building. All the Big Sky/venue crews, teams, trainers, etc. They are all counted. They also base that number on tickets sold, not how many are ACTUALLY in attendance. It's my understanding they require each school to purchase a minimum number of tickets, as well. But yeah, that place is cavernous and empty, even more so than last year. hno:

The only league that counts tickets sold as attendance as MLB. I found a PDF by the NCAA discussing how they do attendance, and they said they count everyone in the stands (spectators, band, press, maybe cheerleaders) for attendance, but not people on the floor.
