Not sure if everyone is aware, but the Alumni Association will be having a bus/ticket package to the Stanford game. Below is from the alumni association website, buy your tickets quick before they sell out.

Ride the Hornet Fan Bus to Stanford Stadium for the opening game of the season. Let someone else do the driving while you sit back, relax, and enjoy the company of your fellow Hornets.

Your trip from the Sacramento State Alumni Center to Stanford will begin promptly @ 11 a.m. on a deluxe, fully-equipped, motorcoach. Beverages on the bus will be complimentary. A Hornet Tailgate will be in full swing upon your arrival - with great food available for purchase. The Sac State vs. Stanford football game will kick-off at 3:30 p.m. Hornet fan bus riders will depart for Sacramento immediately following the game, to return at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Limited seating and tickets-- this will sell out! The final deadline to purchase your ride on the Hornet Fan Bus is Friday, August 20, 2010.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — This Labor Day weekend, hitch a ride on the Sacramento State Football Fan Bus and leave the labor to us.

The Hornets kick off the 2010 football as they battle Pac-10 foe Stanford on Saturday, Sept. 4, and for just $75, Sacramento State is offering fans round-trip bus travel as well as tailgate and game tickets.

Buses are scheduled to depart from the Alumni Center at 11 a.m. for the trip to Stanford. Fans making the trip will receive their game and tailgate tickets before loading the buses and will also be provided drinks and a Hornet gift for the trip down.

Buses are scheduled to arrive in Stanford between 1-1:30 p.m. and fans will tailgate in a designated Hornet area (Koret Plaza, located at the corner of Campus Drive and Galvez Street) until the 3:30 p.m. kick.

Fans also have the option to buy game tickets, bus tickets or tailgate tickets separately. To purchase either the complete Fan Bus package, bus tickets or tailgate tickets, simply log on to http://www.sacstatealumni.com/ and click on the ‘Hornet Fan Bus’ link. All seats will be located in section 126 of Stanford Stadium.

Fans who wish to purchase only game tickets can do so by contacting Sacramento State director of ticket operations T-Ante Sims at (916) 278-2222.

My buddies and I are definitely doing the bus thing through the Alumni Association. Beer, wine, and soda will be provided on the bus and you can bring your own stuff.

We were considering an overnight trip, but this is cheaper and we don't need a designated driver.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Tickets for the fan bus trip to Stanford have been sold out. If you would like to be added to the wait list, please call (916) 278-6925. If the wait list gets to 40 people, an additional bus will be chartered.

Individual tickets are still available to the game by contacting the Stanford ticket office at 1-800-STANFORD or online at www.gostanford.com. To be seated with other Hornet fans, purchase tickets in sections 126, 128, 226 or 228. All tickets are $25 per person.
