Bye week

I watched a lot of Big Sky football this weekend being that the Vikings weren't playing and I have to say, this conference is wide open and we are right in the middle of things. I did not see a team in the conference this week that I can truly say that I am glad we don't play that team, or I wish we had this team at home, or any of that. I'm generally not a homer, but I think we can play with anyone, including the top teams, in the conference. The schedule is tough, but we get both Montana schools at home and they both look totally different when they play on the road. Northern Iowa just bombed Cal Poly at SLO, and I think we can do the same. I even caught a bit of North Texas, and they didn't look as good as Wazzu. We keep playing together, staying focused on the next game, and if we don't get hit big time with injuries, we could be undefeated heading in to the last game at EWU. And how sweet would that be...

Now that I said all this, I hope I didn't jinx us and we lay an egg against WOU.

I don't think we will "lay an egg" against WOU. I saw them live a week ago and on video this week. They have some talented players but the team is not as good as the one that gave us a hard time last year. I too hope I have not just jinxed the Vikings.
