All Wildcat fans coming to Provo for the WSU - BYU football game are OFFICIALLY INVITED to be our guests at the biggest, fastest-growing BYU tailgate party.
Who are we and is this a prank?
Absolutely NOT. We are a group of hard-core BYU fans who have been dying to get a tailgating tradition going in Provo for a long time. After many of us hit the road in 2011 - attending games at Ole Miss and Texas - and catching a glimpse of what tailgating could look like, we returned to Utah determined to start building a tailgating movement of our own. Because of the extraordinary kindness, friendship and hospitality shown to us at places like The Grove, one of our primary goals is reaching-out to the visiting fan bases and inviting them to be our special guests, making them feel welcome on their visit to Provo and BYU.
Last year, the first question asked when we invited our visiting friends was about alcohol. None will be provided, due to the unique nature of BYU and the fact we would get shut-down in record time by BYU officials if it was offered at this on-campus event.
Beyond that, this will be EXACTLY like any other tailgate you have attended: friendly, fanatical football fans of all ages, shapes and sizes meeting & mingling and enjoying a ton of great food while getting amped-up for the game. And WildcatNation are the guests of honor.
