Next up for the Viks, a road game at BYU next Wednesday, 12-12, 7pm Mountain Time start (6pm out here). The Cougars play out of the WCC as well, and are currently at 6-4. They have one game before us, a matchup against their fierce rival, Utah, on Saturday. They are 6-4, but it is a good 6-4. Their four losses have been to Nevada (currently a Top 5 team), Houston (who just beat Oregon), Illinois State there in OT (some have the Redbirds to win the Missouri Valley this year), and they also have lost to Weber State. They like to run and shoot the three ball. They do have one connection to the Portland area, as Evan Troy, 6-5 guard prepped at Mark Morris High School in Longview. This should be a good test.

Looks like one needs to upgrade their plan for viewing the BYUTV Comcast channel. Looks like the stream is free if you create an account.

Final score, BYU wins 85-66.

Game writeups, being that it was BYU there are a few.

I know a lot of BYU athletes do their mission between high school and going to BYU, but is it me or does TJ Haws look like he's in his mid-30s?
