Byuu fans call Lillard "Jimmer pretender" & expect blowout

is that really their fan board? it looks very 2002.

there has been a lot of comparison in the media lillard to jimmer.

jimmer played 4 yrs. lillard has played 2.25 yrs.
 
I am incredibly tired of this Jimmer bull sh*t. How is he a Jimmer pretender? He is still playing college basketball... Jimmer is GONE but no one in provo can seem to understand that. I would hate to have to play in the Jimmer years. While he was there you never touched the ball and now that he is gone provo is still wishing he was there. Byu has a pretty good team this year but everything is over looked because of what once was... I hope Lillard has a double double or even a triple double because lord knows that is a feat Jimmer could never do.

Damian is only being himself and he was taught to compare himself to no one, NO ONE, not even somebody named Jimmer. He was taught to make his own trail. He's DAMIAN LILLARD who is only about WINNING--not PRETENDING. Will all this Jimmer talk go on throughout the season? I sure hope not, because I am sick of it already!
