Well this explains the sudden Odessa connection. My question is did bill hire a guy who actually delivered a player or did we stuck with the leftovers as in my research I saw the starters went the hc to Iona I believe. I’m hoping the Paul try numbers this new Ast has brought with him don’t transition and his guys are good enough to help our proven guys!

bengal37, is your glass always Half-Empty.We're all looking forward to a great/positive season but reading your post makes me believe your not really on our TEAM. I'm just saying even if things don't go the way we want them too lets not point fingers, everyone wants the best for ISU Basketball,Coaches and Players.

I will agree with glass is half empty. I’ve been disappointed in how this off season has turned out from coaching changes to new recruits. I just think we were on the right road and am questioning it now. But make no mistake I am rooting to be wrong. I love me some bengals and will be there shouting my lungs out. And again I will reiterate what I’ve said from jump street. We have the best back court in the league. Guards win in this league. I will make sure to be more positive and look less at what we lost (players coaches etc) and more of what we have a chance to attain. Go bengals!

Who?

Here's Odessa's lineup from this past season:

http://www.wranglersports.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/teams/odessacollege?view=lineup&r=0&pos=sh

The five players with the most starts were:
Jermaine Haley, 33, West Virginia
L.J. Figueroa, 32, St. Johns
Kejuan Johnson, 25, Canisius
Keandre Cook, 24, Missouri State
Alonzo Walker, 15, Idaho State

Kelvin Jones started 11 times (#6 on the team), Idaho State.

Good call Slc bengal . I saw on a recruiting website where Johnson and cook both were going to Iona but after looking again it appears you’re correct. I would say a good sign for the bengals even tho I’l stick to the facts about their stats. However...Odessa was good at the Jc ranks and if we are getting guys on the level or close to those other schools I’m in. And as stated previously our big three just need a little help imo.
