Elijah Ponder was one of my favorite players. I really appreciated his loyalty even though Cal Poly was struggling. He didn't jump into the portal like so many might have done.
One very impressive thing about him is he graduated in Architectural Engineering, which is one of the most difficult majors Cal Poly offers.
He also has a good attitude and is a humble guy, which is appreciated.
vs. Denver he had what should likely have been a scoop 6, but was called intentional grounding, but upon further review shouldn't have been.
From Cal Poly to next year playing in the Super Bowl is a fun story. Anyway, he's #91 watch out for a former Big Sky player
