Wish I was there but trip didn't work out. Awesome Vernon will have so much family support. It was so cool post game in Corvallis when he ran to his family and the rest of the fans after the OSU win. Hope to see that happen again.
Maybe too obvious to point out here but Vernon is a credit to his family, friends and community on and off the field. It was good to see his Dad in Cheney last weekend. Great he could witness one of the greatest performances ever by an Eastern QB. A long list of great quarterback performances but can't imagine anyone better than VA last weekend. His pass to Shaq was amazing, talk about tough. Wow.

What a great time at the tailgate and I really enjoyed meeting you and several other CalPoly fans that were very gracious and classy. Your Mustangs have lost a couple of close ones this season after sharing the title last year, they will be back. Hope our paths cross again.
