Okay, so I've had this idea for a while, and now that our attention is about to turn to the hardwood, I wondered what everyone thought of it.

Before the season starts, there are a myriad of tournaments across the continent. What if the DI schools of the California State University system had their own tournament? Maybe allow a few Cal State DII schools entry for seeding purposes, or at large invitations. It can either be played at the schools gyms with a championship game at a pre-determined location, or it could be all played at a rotating venue.

IDK, I think it could be interesting, and has the possibility of drawing some interest. Any thoughts?

This would never happen the WCC is the premier conference on the West Coast, it was better than the P12 last year, probably not this year, but in order to do this sort of challenge you need to have two conferences that are on par with each other these two conferences are not.
