Call It!

Missoula Griz

New member
Come on... let's call it.
-----------------
I say Griz 27, Vikes 16.
-----------------
Wish we could be there for this one, but we'll all be around the big screen here in MaZooLa Saturay night, hoping for a good game and no injuries.

By the way, I'm still saying "thanks" to those neat Vikes fans who taught us to yell "Cheaters!" when the other team gets a flag. It's caught on in sections at Wa-Griz.

Heh, I was down at the Cal game yelling cheaters on all Cal penalties.

Got some weird looks from the Cal folks.

Go Viks.

I'll go with:

The Mighty Vikings of Portland State University 31
Grizzle 27

Here is to a great game.

To be quite honest I was hoping that there would be a second BSC team into the I-AA Play-offs this year (along with the Griz) thinking PSU having an excellent chance doing so.

Taking into consideration the reputable OL that PSU has (Carvalho, Duff & St. John etc.) & the massive DL (Gehring & Casey Tyler) I really did think it possible, at least before the injuries started happening to both Ali & Sawyer Smith.

With all three of last years' LB gone to graduation (including a fine player in Joey King) & a missing Dominic Dixon from the defensive backfield even with certain fine players in D. J. Robinson & Adam Hayward the CB's are going to really have to step up against 6'3" to 6'4" receivers. With both corners at 5'9" that is going to be a real contest (perhaps the deciding factor over all). Griz 42-10.

42-10? Are you kidding me? No disrespect, but a score like that really sounds like homer thinking to me.

You can do better than that! ALL of you!

PSU 324, Montana -17

(Being a little more serious, I wonder if there's a line on this game. I'm tempted to bet the under.)

My guess is that this game is decided by turnovers and special teams. If the Griz start most of their possessions inside PSU territory like WSU did it could get ugly. If Montana loses the turnover battle and gives up the big punt returns PSU could walk away. My guess is 27 - 10 Griz.

I concur, the turnover battle will decide this one... PSU has been good on the takeaways this year and will need it in this one...
