A writer for the Fresno State paper who played H.S. Baseball with Hornet Aaron Crouch sites "an athlete at Sacramento State" as a source in his article putting our Athletics program down...

I'm sick of the stereotypes and attitudes towards us, especially when our own athletes are knocking the fans. If you don't like it, go walk-on at a Pac-10 School and ride the pine Crouch. Comment this article into the ground...

The writer is just bitter than the best of FSU football is behind them. Pat Hill’s best days are long gone, and if it wasn’t for such a weak conference from top to bottom, FSU wouldn’t come close to sniffing a WAC Conference Championship. Lack of student support is common at all California universities with the exception of the members of the Pac 10. With regard to the athletic contact, obviously that person hasn’t been to a home football game lately as attendance has been close to averaging 10k. The athlete would have the same complaint if he/she were to have accepted a scholarship (assuming this person isn’t a walk-on) at any of the non-Pac 10 California universities.

Frankly this is old news and this says a lot about the writer if they just found out about this. I think he is trying to find something to get his mind off of the poor start that FSU has had this season. It looks like the “anyone and anywhere” motto of Pat Hill is starting to catch up with the program. The funny thing is all he had to do was look south at SDSU’s scheduling woes to see where those kind of games lands the program. :roll:

I found out why this guy was bashing Sac State…the Hornets just handed the Bulldogs their frozen asses to them in hockey. The final was 7-1 Sac State. :lol:
