8. Erik Meyer, Eastern Washington (2002-05) - 42 games - 10,942

*Nichols needs 303 yds of offense vs NAU to pass Martin. EWU plays at NAU on Sat.

Big Sky Passing Yardage Leaders
1. Jamie Martin, Weber State (1989-92) - 41 games - 12,207 (6th in FCS)
2. Travis Brown, Northern Arizona (1996-99) - 41 games - 11,400 (10th in FCS)

5. Doug Nussmeier, Idaho (1990-93) - 39 games - 10,824
6. Travis Lulay, Montana State (2002-05) - 47 games - 10,746

T8. John Friesz, Idaho (1986-89) - 35 games - 10,697
T8. Greg Wyatt, Northern Arizona (1986-89) - 42 games - 10,697
10. Erik Meyer, Eastern Washington (2002-05) - 42 games - 10,261

Everyone on the list played between 35-47 games. Higgins has had 32 starts and I'm not sure if he's played in more games than that.

*Cameron Higgins, Weber State (2007-10) - 32 - 9,203(one year left to play)

3 good games in a row and Higgins could be on the list with 35 starts. Cam would have 44 starts with no playoffs this year or next.

9203 / 32 = 287.59 ypg
287.59 x 12 (min games left) = 3,451
9203 + 3451 = 12,654

If making the playoffs once or twice and no missed games and he does as good as he's done or better he would be on track to be #1 in both stat categories and the WSU records which are the same I guess.

All these records don't mean squat if the offense cannot get their sh!t together and stop making so many mistakes. We should be 8-2 (minimum!) and playoff bound, but we're floundering with only 6 DI wins, just hoping for someone else to lose so we can get in. :(

Nicholls is now number one in total offense with 12,440 yards. He needs 461 passing yards to become number one in passing yardage. All the more reason to hope Northern Arizona beats EWU. If EWU loses, Nicholls won't get another game, and won't get Martin's record. GO JACKS!

Ditto!

The question from earlier whether or not Cam is or will be the greatest QB in WSU history...

based on stats to be how can you say no? He is on track to blow away Nichols and Martins records.

Also,

Back-to-back playoffs and he is only a junior.

Higgins has doubled Weber's playoff appearances in 2 seasons. Playoffs started in 1978 (31 yrs)

4 appearances: 1987, 1991, 2008, 2009

Will 3 straight playoffs and shattering the conference records sway you alls vote?
