Injuries seem to have reached epic proportions. I really hope players aren’t being needlessly held out of games because of minor injuries. These kind of opportunities don’t come around every year for these players!

I read an article the other day about how NDSU so rarely has injuries. I think it would benefit the strength and conditioning program and Eastern’s trainers to spend some time figuring out what they’re doing. This is especially interesting considering NDSU plays in a dome, which are notorious for producing more injuries than average.

LDopa, since most teams do not announce their injuries how do you know they "rarely has injuries"? When I search NDSU football injuries I see a lot of articles commenting on injuries but the depth they have to overcome those. Where did you read they "rarely has injuries"?
I've never heard that a team has more injuries in a dome. Why would that be? Is that a statistic or your belief?

My uncle lives in Fargo...they have their injury problems too...thier running back is out with elbow. Stuff happens...not like they are cramping...

Getting Custer back for this game would be pretty huge, although I don't know what's going on there. I saw him in street clothes after the game and he looked fine to me. Maybe something precautionary. Sam's been shouldering the load in the playoffs but we need to get Custer and Tmac involved as well.

The only other guys that I can think of that we might get back and who aren't already done for the year are Prunty and Karstetter. Getting those guys back would be huge.

I'll dig it up. There was an article posted somewhere that I read. It was something about how they routinely have far fewer than average guys missing time and were crediting their strength program for it. If I have time tonight I'll see if I can find it.

Also, injuries are pretty easy to track. Every game features a participation report, so you know if a guy is missing time.

So hard to get information. Not sure about Custer, but was befuddled about Peirce not playing last week. Hope he just had a flu and it wasn't an injury or disciplinary. Glad to hear about Prunty, don't think he played this last game and feel like the backups did well KJ and Criner especially but Prunty in some situations would be great. All I know is am working on my workout routine and it is going well...

Watched the last two minutes of the Davis game "dudesaidit" posted and it was #90 Keenan Williams rushing from the left side on the last fumble from Davis at the end of the game. He didn't show up on the defensive tackles list. Hope we have his burst for more plays this week against Maine's first year OL. Go Eags!

**It was #92 Foerstel not #90 Williams, guess wishful thinking morphed the numbers. Great push by Jonah, Nick and Jim with the forced fumble**
