It's finally here, I always love the game between WSU & ISU and this year is no exception. There is nothing to play for here except pride and there is no clear cut front runner in this game. Hoping for nasty weather and a very physical game.
GO WILDCATS!!!!!

Yep. I had a hard time getting excited for the Montana State and Southern Utah game (despite how much the Big Sky is pushing to make this WSU's main rival). But this one is always worth going to, no matter how bad our team is and no matter how bad the weather is.

Also, there are a few individual stat-related items to keep an eye on during Saturday's game.

Despite the negative connotation that goes with this stat, Tony Epperson only needs 180 punting yards to break the national record of 4,138 in a season. He could do that in four or five punts on Saturday. That stands as the mark for all classifications, including FBS, FCS and Div III.

There is an interesting RB situation heading into Saturday, too. Josh Booker only needs 25 rushing yards to pass Henry Owens for 9th on WSU's career rushing list. On the other hand, Bo Bolen would need 116 rushing yards to leapfrog C.J. Tuckett, Sam Gipson, George Jackson and Sean Sanders all the way to 11th on that same list. Hypothetically, if Booker doesn't see much action or is ineffective, Bolen could jump past HIM on the all-time list. If Booker got squat, Bolen would need 126 to catch Booker for 10th on the list. I wouldn't be shocked to see Booker get a ton of carries against ISU on Saturday, being the senior and all.

Bolen only needs 43 all-purpose yards to pass Tim Toone for 3rd on WSU's career list.

Lastly, Anthony Morales needs eight solo tackles to crack WSU's top ten list. He is already No. 3 all-time in assisted tackles. He's also already No. 5 all-time in total tackles, and would need a monster game of 18 total tackles to move into the No. 4 spot.

If Weber is to win this game, Chip MUST step up, no more of these over throws and under throwing wide open receivers on 3rd downs.

And the defense also must step up, we have not been that good the last few years at pass defense and that is what we will see saturday.

Hopefully Weber wins, I dont want to lose to Idaho State for the first time in like 10 years, ESPECIALLY at HOME.

GO WEBER

Sorry, no milestones for McClain on the horizon. His 37 field goals made are No. 4 in WSU history, but he was already high on the list before the season began. Hard to move up when you are suspended for most of the season. He would need a whopping 9 field goals on Saturday to tie for No. 3.

Well if there was ever a Big Sky team we could beat it is the Bengals of Idaho State

At least this team went out with a win
