Causeway II

They're at home, they have the revenge factor, and I think they're just a better team. If they're not 10 pts better on their home floor, we're better than I thought. I definitely don't think we can play them man to man the hole game like we did vs Riverside. We don't match up size wise for that. And I'm not sure but we'll probably lose out on the boards if we zone a lot. They're a better scoring team and I think they out recruited us, especially from the high school ranks...Davis by 10. But they still have to suit up and play.

Couldn't agree more. This squad is better than I thought, but still not good enough to win @ UCD this year. Mark Payne is going to have at least two or three dunks in this game.

Here us a link to a link for the live game feed:

Please excuse all the blue, but I had to find a video feed. Audio only just doesn't get it done. :|

2 minutes in and the Hornets are perfect from 3 point range, and well everything else. The Hornets jumped all over the ags right from the get go.

10-8 Hornets with 15:41 left in the 1st. "the farm extension" is running a high trap on the perimeter. The 3 ball will be open all game. The Hornets are also exposing them on the inside with a pump fake followed by a drive to the lane. They have drawn a couple fouls already, I hope they keep the attack up.

17-12 ucd with 11:40 left in the 1st. Hornets need to get it together and make some plays. ucd is running a defense that is basically one big "X" where they run to a double team on the perimeter. Anyone know what the name of that defensive set is?

Did you see those cow davis cheerleaders? You'd think they were playing in the Jenny Craig Arena.

Where is laggie pride? You can hear a pin drop in that place.

Looks like Katz has cracked that "X" defensive set the ags are running. Sac has all the momentum so far. Oh, ags went to a 2-3 zone. Thats what the Hornets have been using to stiffle ucd.

Sac State has a 35-27 lead at the half. My only complaint thus far is the inconsistency at the FT line and some sloppy passing early on. The Hornet D has been terrific. They are on the ags like flies on sh!t. (Perfect example given the location of tonights game. ) Let's see what halftime adjustments are made. I'd like to see some more backdoor cuts by the Hornets, that seems to be wide open almost everytime. If the Hornets get hot from 3, they can put this away early.

Good points...

We've got great ball movement and have picked up some easy buckets... Look for more UCD shots to fall in the second half as our D tires... They're better than this, but I still think we can pull this out!
