Causeway Week

Just got an email about some sort of promo

for the Causeway .

something about getting a cheer card from Am PM market or 7-11 for the game. Some sort of coupon in the Bee

Good to see something is being done to promote this game.
 
Predictions: Sac State 31 – them 20
Attendance: 10k

If the Hornets come out and try to establish the run like they did in Portland, we will dig ourselves a hole and will have to claw our way back. Heavy pass has worked all season, hopefully that is the game plan from the onset. Safron has carried this team all season; I think he can do it one more time.

Defensively I’ve given up expecting anything from this unit. Maybe they dig deep and have a stellar game, but I’m not counting on it.

Special teams has been the crux of our problems in this game in recent years. Dare I say don’t even put a punt returner back and just let the punts bounce to a stop? Kickoff coverage has been a total joke; I expect more pooch kicks like last week in Portland. As we typically are every week, we are once again at a disadvantage in the special teams area.

Don't laugh but we rank higher than Davis by 30 spots in kickoff coverage, and there was only one pooch last week. Plus the new kicker is 4 for 4 and Weldon is one of the top punters in the country now our return team has struggled.

Not sure I can take another shootout. These games everything is out the window who knows
