CBI FIRST ROUND ATTENDANCE
Weber State @ Oregon: 4,375
San Jose State @ Creighton: 3,086
St Bonaventure @ Central Florida: 2,945
Duqesne @ Montana: 2,830
Austin Peay @ Boise State: 2,684
Hofstra @ Evansville: 1,284
Miami OH @ Rhode Island: 1,115
James Madison @ Davidson: 989

WSU's regular season average was 6,006. Too bad we couldn't get this game we signed for at home to actaully be at home. next season is very promissing.

could we out do the tuesday high of 3,086 if we would have hosted oregon?

will oregon have a higher attendance at our game than if it was at the dee?

I think we could have got at least 4,000 if ticket prices were $10 for adults and $5 for kids. I think if the prices were $22, like you have at Oregon, we would be closer to Boise State numbers.

But, if these guys win tonight, look for Weber to host Montana next Monday night.

Honestly??? HELL YES Weber could have gotten good numbers if the fickle fans of Ogden would have seen that Oregon was coming to play. Also, there isn't anything else going on in Utah tonight, or on TV, well for sports that is. I bet you would have seen at least 6K at the game, maybe 7K. CBI = STUPID. I'm sure the guys running the CBI will be running for Congress soon. Seems like that would be a great fit for them.

I bet UM gets 4K or 5K tonight, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't break 2K.

I had a conversation with a friend of mine a few years back, he's a Utah fan and he told me that Utah drew meager crowds when they hosted the likes of LSU, Michigan and Oklahoma. I told him the Dee would be PACKED if any of them teams played at Weber. If Weber fans knew Oregon was coming to the Dee, we would get 8k+ easily.

On the subject of Getting better numbers, I think a game between these 2 at the Dee would have better attendance than if the game was in Eugene, my reasoning is thus, Weber State fans would come out to watch Weber take on Oregon, Oregon fans however, wont be as interested to watch a game against Weber State.

See what Im saying'?

Its like this, Weber State fans would see a game against Oregon, Oregon fans would see a game vs Weber State.

Which fan base do you think would be more interested?

The Weber fans watching a game vs Oregon easily

Good, you had me worried for a while :thumb:

Before Oregon started playing in thier new arena (Matthew Knight Arena) there home attendance average was 6,558

After MKA Opened however thier attendance average went up to 8,164

Thier attendance average at MKA was 11,375. Thier largest crowd was 12,369 which was supposedly a sold out game.

That is why Oregon is hosting and we are not.
