CBI/CIT/WBI Question

Do the coaches have a say as to whether they want to participate in these pay-to-play tournaments (assuming there is an invitation), or is it strictly an athletic administration decision?

They absolutely have a say as Seton explained this afternoon on the coaches show.

I also imagine the coaches get the input from the team itself or at least the team captains as well as speaking with the A.D. and their assistant coaches before collectively making a decision.

I have no doubt the ISU WBB team was good enough to make the WBI the last three years if they chose to participate.

And not saying this is just an ISU issue, but I'm sure the expense / cost / entry fee / money to host a game comes into play in the final decision for a lot of schools.
