Hey all, wrote up a post on Chehales Tapscott, and whether he is the best forward in the Big Sky? - http://www.bigskybball.com/2011/08/is-chehales-tapscott-best-post-player.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Would love to get your thoughts? What are his strengths and weaknesses? You guys have seen him more than me, so would love to hear Vikings fans thoughts on Tapscott's game.

I think you have a very good read on Tapscott as a player. If he was 2-3 inches taller he would be playing at the pac-10 level. I think he should be at least 2nd team all big sky and possibly more this upcoming season. Really like his game, but offensively has room to grow. He is a fun player to watch.

I think that Tapscott should be mentioned when talking about the top forwards in the BSC. Hopefully his FT percentage can improve this next season. He gets to the line quite a bit, but if you can't put the FTs down, it's not really much of an advantage. He did seem to shoot better from the line later in the season.

On the Big Sky's website you can narrow down the stats to only show conference games. Through six league games, Tapscott is leading the conference in rebounding, steals, and blocked shots, and he's 8th in scoring and 7th in field goal %.

I think he's answering if he's one of the conferences top forwards.

Little blurb about Chehales in the Tribune.

Former PSU basketball star Chehales Tapscott, a 6-5 forward, has totaled 52 points and 21 rebounds in two games with AS Soleuvre in Luxembourg’s Diekirch League.

What a great experience for CT. In his 20's, playing basketball and living in Europe enjoying all Europe has to offer: great food, beautiful women and all that history.
