The Air Force/Hawaii game doesnt even tip off for another 2 hours :yikes: , but we might be able to get a pretty good idea about who we might meet in round 2. Mind you these are teams that are geographically closer to Weber.

Oral Roberts beat Texas Arlington 84-76
Northern Iowa beat North Dakota 77-66
UC Irvine beat High Point 68-65
Tulane beat South Alabama 84-73

This will be interesting since we already played UCI and Oral Roberts this year... I'm not against rematches. But I would prefer avoiding them for as long as possible. So that being said I am kinda thinking/hoping the winner of the Air Force - Hawaii.

going to oru again? now that would be beyond lame.

i also am hoping for the winner of hawaii/af. i dont want a rematch.

I'd be shocked if we host ANYONE on Saturday, given Wednesday's dismal final attendance, but here's hoping. I was told in advance that it is extremely likely our second-round game (if applicable) would be on the road and if we won that, then we'd be back home for the third round.

If we truely are hosting Air Force, that would be fantastic. I think we could get good ticket sales out of that one. We have an AF base in our back yard and everyone knows who they are and what they are all about. Also, I'm sure that AF travels well. I love this matchup. :thumb:

Well...at very least we know it is going to be Air Force.

Will athletics try to market this game? I love the two plastic boards on campus...genius!! Such amazing work informing students. I have already talked to three students today who had no idea that there was a game last night. Imagine that...hmmmm...
