As pathetic as our attendance was last night..........it could be worse

Utah Valley @ Weber State 2,334
Coastal Carolina @ Old Dominion 2,246
Robert Morris @ Indiana State 2,113
Tennessee State @ Mercer 1,773
Tennessee Tech @ Georgia State 1,509
McNeese State @ Toledo 1,140

Ours was the highest attended game last night

I really think that our attendance will be higher for the next games. Realistically, there was just 1.5 days to market this game and get the word out. Most fans did not know about the game until Monday morning and the game was the next day.
Also, winning a game is good for sales. Too often fans are burned on these tournament games because typically Weber plays poorly in the non-NCAA tournament games. Think of the NIT and CBI in recent years, thus there is not a lot of faith that the team will show up and compete. A win will ameliorate those concerns.

So, if Weber is fortunate enough to get another home game, expect the attendance to double :)

Ag's won't get more than 3500 tonight.
Yep. Announced attendance was 2,141. I'm sure we got a little help from the UVU fans that traveled better than CSUB. But still, I'll take an attendance victory over USU any day.

So, does this settle it? WSU should host IF we end up playing USU at any point in this tournament.
We beat them in all the criteria outlined by the CSI tournament guidelines:
RPI - Check
Record - Check
Head to head victory - Check
Attendance - Check

Personally, I want to see Idaho at the Dee and then USU at the Dee for the semi-final game.

Word on the street is that WSU is hitting the road in the second round. Not offical yet, but my source says Utah State and Loyola Marymount have both been promised second-round home games.

This site (don't know how reputable) says Loyola Marymount will host Idaho in next round.

If true, USU in the 2nd Round is looking like a real possibility..

Off to LMU:

Guess that site I posted before wasn't so accurate...

That's ridiculous. How does Utah State even have that power? They are 2 games above .500 (maybe 3 now) and Idaho finished ahead of them in the conference and with a better overall record splitting the season series. So they have to travel to Utah State? What a raw deal. USU and UI should both be on the road.
