Thanks for taking the time for the interview and posting it here. Have to hand it to Katz, he sure speaks and carries himself well in interviews. Spoiler alert: he touches on the event center and it sounds like Demps is the favorite to start at the 3 spot.

I don't think he can afford to. Had Okwud not missed last season due to injury then maybe I could see that; no way as the roster stands now.

What did Katz say about a new Events Center.

Saw somewhere else that there was some type of Town Hall about a new Events Center to expand the Well.

Good to hear there is movement.

Would love to contribute to a facility improvement effort.

Love to see the new events center and Hornet gym being taken down . It is only going to stand up for so many decades before it will become unsafe.

I know the campus theater is one of the original structures that will need to go at some point as well. Maybe alum Tom Hanks can be approahed to help out.

Love to see more student housing as well. Great to see Sac State turn into more of a school where many more students live on campus. So many live all around the boundaries of the shcool in private owned complexes.
 
So there is some sort of news about the Student Events Center?

Some sort of vote by some sort of advisory committee that approved a local fee increase for the students that will begin next year to build the SEC? Is this a done deal or does Gonzo need to get it approved by the CSU Trustees?
 
can anyone out there respond? i see on many other Big Sky hoop sites that we are getting a new 6,000 seat arena but nothing on our own site?
