• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Coach Neff

Back when I was hanging around the football program, Joe Neff coached the track team. They shared that crappy old field house with us, but to me he was "just" a coach for another sport. Little did I know that there was a connection.

It seems Coach Neff came to Sac from Lodi High, my alma mater. He spoke yesterday at the memorial service for our track and cross country coach of 30 years, Don Womble. Had I known the connection at the time, I would have gone in to meet him. As it is, I had the chance to meet Coach Neff yesterday. What a great guy.

The dumb things a guy does when he's young....

SH are you talking about Joe Neff coaching at Lodi? Neff went to the old Norte Del Rio H.S. in Sacramento and then San Jose State.
