Nothing above a C yet from anyone. Interesting... I gave a C, although if they had lost the Seattle game with Nelson, I might have been tempted to go with a D. None of your options really describes my sentiments, though. Disappointing season with some key veterans, but a lack of talented depth, no scoring from the 2 position had to create low expectations coming in. With the practice sanctions, and his lack of experience, you'd lower them further. I think we can all agree that we'd be fed up with Bone if he'd done this poorly, but it's hard to fault Tyler this year, or next year for that matter. Without Waters, Thomas, and Jones, next year could be as difficult, if not more so. Let's hope they can at least secure a spot in the Big Sky Tournament this time around and see what happens.

Not sure about the Seattle game comment with regards to Nelson. I love me some Phil Nelson, but one of the things you give up with him is on the defensive side of the game. Brandon is picking up more minutes with Nelson being out and if you watch him get back on defense, it sort of brings back the fact that there is two aspects of the game.

One knock on Geving is that he's a bit hard on players. Take Harriel for example. He played quite a bit in the first half against Seattle. Made some errors, but didn't see much action in the second half...

I've been tempted to start this poll myself on quite a few occasions. This season has been mildly disappointing to me. There should not be this much drop off from last year. It isn't like we brought in a new coaching staff with a whole new system. There is no built in "we just need time to recruit our own guys" excuse.

I agree with your comments. The whole point to hiring Geving was to have a seemless transition from Bone. No drop off from previous seasons. We haven't seen that despite a lot of returning players.

All the new guys are Geving recruits, except for Harriel maybe that way he's hard on him not one of his guys

He is not another Joel Sobotka as a head coach because he's got some real talent recruting players and has some tremendous help coming in this upcoming season. I think we will begin to see glimpses of his real potential starting this season.

is this a coaching problem or is this the players, It does'nt look like were running much to get guys good looks and there is no ball movement . Its not looking like the team ball of Bone's time. Its looking like were in a lot of trouble.

I think that the loss of Tapscott has pushed this banged up team over the brink.

Nate is out, and when was in, he wasn't seeing a whole lot of minutes, as he's not very good.

Phil is out of shape and seems content with just jacking up threes for the rest of the year. Phil is a good shooter, but when you're not able to elevate, even a good shooter can't hit.
