Coach V Leaving for Sac State

Bad timing to have your recruiting coordinator leave leading up to signing day.....I'm guessing he wanted the DC job but Sac State for the same position he had here?

I do not know if taking a job as "secondary coach" at Sac State can even be considered a lateral move, seems like moving backward to me. Maybe this type of decisions is why he did not get offered the DC position.

His Twitter bio says he's the DB coach and defensive passing coordinator. This might be a semi promotion for him.

I think he should stay at EWU and I think he will regret the move. Good luck to coach "V" at Sac State.
I get it you might be mad about losing that opportunity, but you have another chance to win a Chipper next year your stock goes up more with the thought in the back of your mind ... "I am leaving at the end of this year. Going to keep my ears open for jobs." But also going deep into playoffs does that hurt your job prospects and does it make it more challenging to recruit here if your heart isn't into it?

Could be a healthy raise if Sac is investing for big improvements in performance. Still love that guy and watching his class interaction with the team. Good luck Coach; see ya back in Cheney.
