Pretty cool idea.
The first stop on the Coaches Caravan is Tuesday, June 2, at the Raley’s in College Greens. The location for the second stop on Tuesday, June 9, will be announced soon, and the third stop on Thursday, June 11 will be at Bel Air in Elk Grove (Calvine Road).

All events will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a chance to ask questions and speak with the coaches and administrators.

The Coaches Caravan features Sacramento State head football coach Jody Sears, Big Sky men’s basketball coach of the year Brian Katz, women’s basketball head coach Bunky Harkleroad, and head baseball coach Reggie Christiansen, along with other head coaches and administrators, including Macriss.

Support anything the coaches and athletic department can do to get out in the community and promote Sac State athletics.

Thought it was great for the football program to hold spring football practices/scrimmages in Contra Costa County, Alameda County and in Stockton. Do not recall this happening in the past and anything to bring more attention to Sac State athletics and the Sac State brand and to get folks interested in State State athletics is good.

If we are the "Leadership" campus and the "Destination" campus we need to indeed get out and represent!!!

As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "effort and enthusiasm, no matter how misguided , is better than nothing at all".

Go Hornets!!!

Sac State Pride!!

I was able to stop by and check this out on my way home from work. It’s worth it and I recommend checking this out if you can. Four coaches were there along with some of the Hornet Club staff. It was pretty cool picking the brain of the coaches there. They were also handing out fridge magnet schedules for football, M & W hoops (BSC schedule only), and baseball for next year and some other items along with free punch, water, and cupcakes.

The next ones are June 9th at the Bel Air in Gold River and June 11th at the Bel Air on Elk Grove-Florin.
