Saw this on football scoop, building out the recruiting staff.

Sacramento State (FCS): Sacramento State, fresh off the most successful season in school history, is seeking someone to fill a newly created Recruiting and Operations Assistant role. This position will work directly with the Director of Football Operations and is tailored towards candidates who have experience working in a Division 1 football recruiting and/or operations role. This is a full-time paid position that includes benefits. Please send a cover letter, resume and references to DFO Garrett Wolfe at [email protected]. No phone calls please.

Nice. Admin going all in on football. Need to fix the bathroom situation if they want this investment to payoff.

Malcolm Agnew, who has been RB coach at North Dakota has announced he has taken the RB coach job. Some of you might remember him as the RB on the Oregon State team who we could not stop. That was the first game where we beat a PAC 12 team.

Oregon State has ALWAYS been a P5 school prime for the "scalp." Even as far back as '95, when a certain Big West school (now a I-AAA school in the WCC) took them out en route to a 3-8 record and the loss of the program. Playing Fresneck, Arizona, Nebraska, Oregon, and Oregon State all in the same OOC season doesn't do wonders for making it through the season in one piece when you're either FCS or mid-tier G5....
