It has been a miraculous year on the football field for Eastern Washington.
Coach Best has improved the rest of the coaching staff without having to make changes. That is rare. These same coaches have helped the players play to their ability week in and out!!
It would be hard to point out any extended moments where the team played "down" to the competition.
Recruiting this past year was stellar. I think the depth of the team has helped players improve to the level they are today. Excited to see all the commits sign in the early period.
Crazy as it sounds, there is still room for improvement. Super excited about making the Natty, win or lose; but as excited for the development of all the depth on the team with the extra time this season. There were up to 7 defensive replacements on the field yesterday and they gave up 17 points in a semi-final game.
