Coach's Golf Tournament

As an Eage Alum, I found it pretty upsetting to come home from work and find a broken sliding door. The golf ball was gone and the damage was pretty obvious. I know there is an inherent risk living on a golf course and I am not upset about the broken glass because accidents happen. I am disappointed that no note was left apologizing for the damage or any offer to compensate for the damage especially since I had two EWU flags flying in the backyard in support of the university. According to Washington State Law, golfers are liable for any damages while golfing and any help or information would be appreciated. If anything, an apology would be nice. Go Eags.

Ya, totally sux!! Check your Homeowners policy for living on a golf course hole, I'm sure its covered. Also, no responsibility of the golfer.

Yeah it kind of blows. Like I said, accidents happen and there is no point to be too upset. My wife and I love our home and would not trade it. It was just sad to see no one fess up. It shows a real lack of integrity which I would not have expected from my fellow EWU alums and fans.

Buying a house on a golf course and then complaining that it's getting hit by golf balls is like buying a house in Alaska and complaining that it's cold. Seems like an inherent risk when it involves a game that includes errant shots, PGA pros only hit the fairways 65% of the time (see Phil Michelson)! Sorry about the damage but this can't be a first, huh? As for expecting the best out of people because of where they went to school or their profession or where they live or their economic status or their race .... Need I say more?

Is it possible that no one knew that this happened?
