• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Coach's Show Tonight

This will be our first show this year with Coach O'Brien about men's basketball:

Here we go again...the information for submitting questions for the coach's radio show tonight is all listed below...

How to submit questions for the Coach's Show Monday night

-You can put them in this thread and I'll use them tonight

-You can e-mail them to me at: [email protected]

-you can call the show and ask yourself 208-233-5734 (local calls), or 1-800-726-5734 (toll free)
Please include your first name and where you live. It's helpful to be able to say "John in Shelley has this question"...or something like that. However, you don't have to include first name...but as in letters to the editor in newspapers...preference goes to those who provide some identification. Hard questions are not discouraged, but we will not be using questions that bear any semblance to "personal attacks".

Besides being on KSEI (AM930) and KRXK (AM1230 in Rexburg), please note that you can listen to the show online through Stretch Internet through the http://www.isubengals.com site (courtesy of Dr. Michael Sutton at Cedar Hills Family Dentistry in Pocatello) , but if you listen online and decide to call the show, the audio you hear on your PC is substantially delayed (20 secs or more), so there can be problems trying to talk on phone and listen to radio. You can call and give your question to the engineer, who can pass it along.

The show did not have a link available via Stretch Internet.

Can you tell me more about Busma and the situation with Little?

Cub...they're doing an MRI on Busma tomorrow...he had x-rays today but they were negative. They think he may have a stress fracture in the foot.

Apparently Joe got Rolando's attention with the suspension for the Utah game (sound like the football scenario?). He said Ro has made "some" progress on his academic status in the interim, and he's letting him practice and plans on letting him play Wednesday night against Boise State. But he says they'll also take another look at his status Wednesday night, and if it's still not good enough he will not make the trip to USC for Friday's game so he can stay home and take care of his academic duties. Joe's words were, "I'd rather suffer a couple of losses now and have Rolando for Conference play, than have him now and not for Conference."
The bottom line, though, is that if Rolando doesn't pass the two finals he has next week, he'll be ineligible for second semester, anyway.

Sorry about the Stretch Internet thing...they've been missing stuff for the last week or so. We'll try and find out what's going on.

Idaho State and Coach OB have invested quite a bit in Rolando. I only hope that he shows as much commitment in the classroom as the coaching staff and his teammates have shown him as a member of the team.

Not having one of them would be tough enough, losing both would be a devastating blow to the team. Chron Tatum and Donnie Carson need to show up and play like leaders.

I'll tell you who has a lot invested in Rolando: his dad, who has paid for 50 credits of out of state tuition so he could get eligible this year. If I were Mr. Little, there would have been a stern discussion this past weekend.

Wow, I'll bet.

Big Fella needs to sack up. Anything else--is just plain selfish.

This is almost as bad as Caspari bailing on the team late, leaving ISU no opportunity to fill the void.
