I didn't hear coaches show but sounds like Adams is an almost certain no-go this week, I know they targeted the Griz game, sounds like that may be stretching it as well...
Took time to listen to the interviews with Baldwin. Didn't get to Bootheroyd and Gomez. No updates on injuries. Anybody who is curious about Baldwin's decision to go for it on 4th, pulling Forte, and our defensive play, he covers all of it in podcast #2.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that VA starts against Montana. Keep in mind, this is typically a one month injury, and one month is Saturday. I wouldn't even be that shocked to see him suited up on Saturday, as I don't think the home team has to limit their suited players. In fact, if the game is close, I'd bet he winds up in the game.
Don't doubt Vernon, the guy is a gamer. Gamers find ways to impact games, and that starts with getting on the field. Gamers don't slow play injuries.

We did attend practices Tuesday and Wednesday, both days VA was on the field in his Walking Boot. He did still had a little limp. IMO he will be sitting out this game. I hope to see a good Whoop A-- this Saturday :nod: :nod: :nod: :nod: Both days at practice it was cold, had to get back in my vehicle protect these old knees. VA wants to play, he must convince the Coach/Head Trainer. Hope Jordan West can find his place this weekend, and torch ND for about 4 Touch Downs. Hit them hard and often. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Ronnie Hamlin should set a "New Tackle Record" this weekend. I can honestly say this team is ready for "Home Coming this weekend", hope the rain comes early in the am or after the game. Go Eagles!!!Vic Wallace

Great thread, love the speculation about when VA will return. Yes Griz fans he may play, he may not. Let your coaches know they need to prepare for both QB's. We will run the ball Saturday against one of the better defensive schemes in the Big Sky and of course that will open up the passing game and give our defense a chance to focus and catch a little rest.
It is Homecoming, we will have football weather and we will re-establish our place as a dominant team. Love it Ronnie has a shot at breaking a record this weekend. My biggest expectation is another blocked kick, no pressure on Coach Schmedding.

If Adams is in a boot this week as Vic indicated I don't think that is positive news on his return because he said at the NAU game he would try to practice this week and the boot was off.
Guess we will see but I trust JW this weekend, we should dominate!

I saw VA at the Women BB Scrimmage wearing his regular sneakers, I was late for the practice, he was sitting on the "Big Couch" in Reece Court with his little son. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :nod: :nod: :nod: :clap: :clap: :clap: Hope this is a great Omen.
We will have to wait and see. Will try to make it out today for the practice at 4 p.m. Women are going to have an outstanding BB Team again this year. They looked awesome last night. They won 82 - 37. This team from MO, from the NAIA. They wished they didn't come to play us. Great Win. Vic Wallace

Don't think it will take VA to beat UM. D, discipline and execution. Getting set on D, maintaining the edge, keeping it in front of the DB's, trusting your teammates, eliminating the massive amount of penalties (93rd at 70 yds/gm, avg 9 flags per game) and improving passing execution will make this a "W" for the Eags. This isn't the compendium of all things necessary to get the win, but it would be a good start. It's time. Guess we will see more today vs. UND.
