• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Coach of Dah Year - Bohl????
I know it only counts for regular season, but I always have an issue when a coach either repeats or they go undefeated . . .especially NDSU - isn't that what they were supposed to do?
I would say anyone, but him I would be more for. Kind of surprised Baldwin ended up 6th.

Player, School.................1st....2nd....3rd....4th....5th....Total

1. Craig Bohl, North Dakota St.....42.....24.....26.....11.....12.....418

2. Dino Babers, Eastern Illinois...34.....32.....12.....16......4.....370

3. Jack Cosgrove, Maine............18.....16.....18.....21.....10.....260

4. Ron Roberts, SE Louisiana.......16......9.....15......9.....12.....191

5. Joe Moorhead, Fordham............7.....14.....13.....10.....15.....165

6. Beau Baldwin, Eastern Washington.7......8.....11.....17.....12.....146

Honestly, that's a tough field. The guy from Eastern Illinois turned a perennial loser into a quarterfinalist and conference champ. The guy at SE Louisiana won the Southland after years of being an also-ran. And Fordham had never been mentioned among the FCS powers before this year.

While all of us biased observers think Baldwin deserved to win, I can't really argue with any of the guys in front of him. They all did great jobs this year.

That's my point exactly LDopa any of those guys as far as I am concerned deserve it more than Bohl.

I wonder if Bohl left the trophy on the table when he left like he walked out on his team . . .not too happy with that obviously. . . finish the season 1st!

The funny thing is that he didn't walk out on his team. He's still coaching at NDSU. I'm shocked Wyoming is letting him moonlight with another program. I'd be demanding he got to Laramie and started recruiting immediately. Maybe that was a stipulation of his contract?
