I am really excited for this game on tuesday, i think it is a match up between two of the best teams in the state. Im also excited to see how each team handles the matchups of lillard and pane, and jardine and mahoney. I personally think you guys (weber state) have the best team in the state this year and i am scared as i am all the games we play against weber state. I hope its a great game on tuesday and cant wait to watch it! Go aggies!

It should be a goodie, although I think Bullinger or Otis may be matched up against Jardine more than Mahoney. Darin comes off the bench.
 
I really hope we deliver this year. We've had ALOT of heartbreaking seasons in football and basketball for the past couple years. We need to get back on track. Winning Tuesday would be a nice start. :thumb:

thus far utah state is the best team in the state at 1-0 beating byu. weber should be good this year, we can only hope the team is ready for this big game. lillard vs pane will be a lot of fun to watch and everyone seems to be excited to see it. im also excited to see how our bigs handle the usu bigs.

yeah, i think both are pretty equally matched, it will be one heck of a game i think.

its really annoying to always hear about it on this forum but i get the some responses at the games from people i talk to and how long has it been now? 2-3 yrs? :roll: why is it such a big deal that it can't be played? at other schools they would call it a tradition but at weber apparently it was an over used song. shouldnt the band stop playing the fight song using the same logic?
 
The other one, that is way over used, is the National Anthem. That one can definately be cut. It's been played every game since Weber was a school. When they replace it with 'Mary Had a Little Lamb', and people complain, they can use all of the same excuses.

Excuses are like arm pits. Almost everyone has them and they all stink. :stir:
 
Actually Joker is still to be played. it is to be played in CLOSE games under 4 minutes. that is when the best responses from the crowd are. Playing the song in a 50 point blow up doesnt quite get the crowd on its feet like playing it when the game is down to the wire.
