Considering what Texas has done, what Gonzaga ended up doing, what Boise State just did...

...Pac-12 politics is ratcheting up now.

Both the work computer and the home computer is telling me that the page has moved. I can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

Sounds like the same shtick Canzano has been preaching about for years now. But things change and USC now is not USC in the past. May be a tough pill for them to swallow but most Pac-12 schools have passed them up. Hate to admit it, but one could make a reasonable argument that the Rubber Duckies are now the class of the conference in football, men's basketball and women's basketball.

If they think they can capture past glory by going independent, good luck to them.

This isn't about past glory. This is about getting paid regardless. Imagine USC and another California school and maybe Oregon in the Big 12. THEN what can the Big 12 pull per school?

BTW, as USC interests are a lot of the money behind the Rose Bowl, what happens to that?

If Oregon is part of it, that does change the narrative, but USC and the Rose Bowl are both symbols of past glory of the Pac-10 (yes, the Pac-10) conference. USC can no longer get a decent recruiting class and the Rose Bowl is now viewed as a consolation prize for when the champion cannot make the playoff.

If nothing else, it's getting talked about. I've also seen a version with USC, Oregon, and the Arizona schools.
