This ranking seems fair to me, and it's why we could meet all expectations this year and still get a 14 or 15 seed for the tourney. it's also why Weber needs to schedule even stronger non- conference teams. The Sky is so weak 3-9 this year it will kill our RPI. All that said, I remain very optimistic about the season. Maybe we sweep the Bay Area schools and BSC games and get a 10 seed.

Pre season rankings mean next to nothing. They may or may not turn out to be accurate and it seams to me like they are just trying to frame everyone's thinking within their own objectives. The really sad thing is that, people are such sheeps, these things actually do work. You can't ban them, we have that freedom of speach thing.

We should start our own ranking system, polling our own fan base. We could always have Weber State at or near the top in the Nation. We could always have the BSC as one of the top three confrences in the nation. We could post it on the internet, publish it in the papers, pull it out and show recruits, and although it may be stretching the trueth, if we do it loud enough and long enough, many people will begin to view it as the gospel. Then the BSC can get 5 teams into the dance and we will always be a top 5 seed. :twisted:
