Just wanted throw some props your guys' way on a fantastic season so far, winning the regular season b-ball title, and hosting the BSC Tourney. Good luck come tourney time. In the event MSU doesn't make it to the tourney, or doesn't play WSU if we do make it, I'll be pulling for you guys. While my 'Cats were picked to finish only 6th or 7th in the league, I am still pretty disappointed with how things have worked out this year for us. You guys have built something really special down there in Ogden with regard to your b-ball program and you should be proud. I guess the only thing my Bobcats will be able to hang their hat on this season is saying they swept the BSC regular season champs! ;)

Thanks Old Skool. You're the best non-Weber State poster on this board, well, it is between you and isusuperfan. I hope the Bobcats get in the tourney and make some noise, that'd be awesome! Until the game next week, your Bobcats do scare me assuming they have been the only Big Sky speed bump for us. You guys should have a good, competing team next year. Your words about Weber State are kind, and to be honest, MSU is one of the teams in the conference that I don't mind. I can deal with MSU and UNC.

Well, thank you old skool cat for saying that. You are one of the fans that when his team is defeated, doesn't still talk crap. That is very admirable. As for next tuesday we'll see what happens. You did beat us at the first of the season, but we have played a lot of ball since then and, frankly, we've gotten better.

it's good to see that not all people from montana is jerks. if you wonder why i said that read montana fan site tread called what and see what was said about weber and more then one wife

Go figure - we've just gotten worse. Can't quite figure it out. Think it's because we have a really young team and nobody has emerged from the pack as a leader. So when things start to go south, the team just unravels. As for making the tourney, it's gonna be tough for the Bobcats. Two road games against good teams - UNC and PSU - and then finish at home with Weber. We could easily lose all three. If we do, we have to hope that EWU loses out. In that scenario, we would finish in a tie for 6th, but MSU should get the tourney nod due to our early conference win against Weber.

All in all, WSU has deserved the tourney with your steady play. Here's to hoping if you win the tourney and go to the big dance that you receive a decent seed. The Big Sky gets no respect, and for some reason the NCAA must feel as though the Big Sky should be delighted with a 15 or 16 seed.

Bracketology has us as a 14 seed now, but I think there is a slim possibility, that if Weber wins out, (no offense Old School Cat), including the BSC tourney, we may get lucky enough to get a 13 or if we are really lucky, a 12 seed.

1st-making the tournament would be awesome
2nd-in 2003 we were 26-5 and were in the top 5 of the mid-major poll and got a 12 seed. They also had 17 straight wins going into the tournament. Best win: BYU, Worst loss: DII Alasaka-Faibanks

I think if this year's team wins out they have a shot at a 12-13 with a 23-8 record and 14 straight wins. I'd guess a 13-14 though. Also, it looks like 6 of our 8 losses could be teams in the tournament.
