Congrats to McKinney

Yes, Mikh gets the much deserved award for an outstanding season and career. Great player and even a better person. We have been very privileged to enjoy watching Mikh for the 3 years he wore the Hornets uniform. He has been, in my opinion, the most entertaining player in this league for all 3 of his years. For those of us who got to witness your play, Thank You Mikh.

Dylan Garrity making the second team all BSC is a great accomplishment but his greatest accomplishment has been and will continue to be his impact on the Sac St program. He was the first high school recruit who actually encouraged other players to come here just by the way he played the game. Unselfish to a fault, Coach Katz had to practically threaten Dylan to get him to take more shots. He has been our best pure shooter for 4 years, even though he didn't take many shots his freshman year. There is no way to measure the overall good that Dylan has added to the Sac St basketball program. It's been a pleasure to see you perform.

Well said PGP and these selections are well deserved. Amazing to think McKinney and Garrity didn’t get any other offers aside from Katz. They have been stellar during their 3/4 years here. They are huge contributors as to how far the program has come in that time. It was great watching these guy play and I am grateful that they chose to come to Sac State. They will be missed.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento State's dynamic back court of senior guards and co-captains Mikh McKinney and Dylan Garrity each received all-Big Sky Conference recognition today, highlighted by McKinney being named conference MVP and unanimous first team all-league.
