All,

Let's give props to Coach Rahe and the 2009 Team.

They had an amazing season that turned out to be a championship team when we weren't sure what would happen half way into the OOC schedule.

They will be a team we will remember for years to come, lets wish them luck to get to the Big Dance next year.

Still though, at least one more shot this season, on Sunday the field of 32 will be announced for the NIT.

WSU gets an autobid to the NIT for being a conference champion and not winning the conference tournament.

Before anyone says anything disrespectful about the Montana State game, think about this whole season and how much fun you had watching them play. Oh, and you know they read this forum.

We don't have much to complain about, a Big Sky title in football and basketball this year! Thanks Mac! Thanks Rahe!

No doubt about it, we have been spoiled this year with our teams.

Its kinda pathetic... Weber has excellent teams, facilities, and coaches, but our fans are SHIT!!! Way to go last night... With a little more enthusiasm and support our team might have found a way to claw their way back into the game. At very least the fans should have given D-Will a standing ovation as he left the floor, I've never been more disgusted in my life!

The 2 seniors - McCoy & Davis, who was our last duo that we will remember for years to come like these 2? They had great careers here at Weber. Both as JC transfers we were lucky to have Davis for 3 years.

55 Davis dunks over the 3 year span, the most electrifying dunker in WSU history...

Weber State fans - hold your heads high! What an incredible athletic season your fine university has had this 2008/2009 athletic year. A Big Sky football championship with a win over the griz and a first-round playoff win over a perennial FCS power Cal-Poly. Follow that up with a regular season Big Sky men's basketball championship, with a sweep over your rivals ISU and a sweep over UM and numerous individual accolades - McCoy, Lillard, Davis, Hanson. I can't recall the last time one school being so dominant in the two major sports on campus. Just think of how many players you have returning in both sports, and immediately Weber State is in the mix as pre-season favorites for both next year. Congrats WSU. Go get 'em in the NIT!

Old School Cat,

Only 2 teams have won football and bball titles in the same season 3 times - Weber and Montana State!

I sure hop Rahe stays around for a while. He has been such an asset to the organization. Dropping Cravens and picking up Rahe was the best thing Weber could have done at the time to shake things up. Of course now that Weber sports are super awesome I am no longer living there

But at least now with bigskytv.org you can watch the conference games...
