If I had to write a script of how the Eagles would win, that would have been it.
Down 19-0 and your boys never gave up. That was the difference tonight: Heart.
Delaware went conservative and the Eagles captured the momoentum. Great win.
If we had to lose, I'm glad to see a program that never won it before capture glory.
Really great game. You are a well-deserving National Champion.

Congratulations Eagles.

Thank you HensRock. You guys also have a hell of a team. Despite witnessing (in person) all 8 of our home games, and every away game on BSC TV, I didn't hold out much if any hope for us pulling it out when it was 19-- over halfway through the 3rd. This team doesn't understand the meaning of quit. Best of luck to Devlin and other Blue Hens in the draft. What an incredible game.

Thanks, Hensrock! And thanks for a fun time over on gohens. You guy have fans with class.

Thought I'd get my 2 cents in here before the dust settles. Losing is never easy especially when we showed what the Hens are all about in the first half but your coaching staff made good adjustments and your players carried them out to near perfection. Mitchell pinpointed his passes on the TD drives so that only your fine WR's could catch them. You guys never gave up and played your hearts out for the full 60 mins. That is a great team you have and with most all back it appears you'll be tough to beat for the next years. Congrats on a great season and thanks for your sportsmanship on this and our forums

Haven't made it over to gohens.com yet, but I wanted to extend a hearty "congrats" to the UD fans on a fine season and a great game last night. I think it was one of those games that neither team really deserved to lose. Geez, what a great game.

UD is one of the elite programs in the FCS with great coaches, players, and fans. It sucks someone had to lose, but for some reason I was just our year to shine I think.

Congrats again Hen nation.

I'd like to echo shout-outs to both the Hens team and fans (I'll get around to posting over on the Hen House but with little sleep and still chugging along on the pure high of last night's game, I've got to get some sleep first to make much sense). The Blue Hen fans were pure class, enjoyed talking with them and seeing them out at the tail gate. Very gracious bunch, great team and a the two teams put on a worthy display for a chipper on national tv. Thanks also go out to Frisco - the town and folks did a great job!

Great game Eagles. I would be lieing if I said the loss wasn't devastating but after reflection the better team won and was exertainly deserving (can you say Eagles vs. Giants). I must say, of all of our opponents over the years EWU fans are some of the classiest. Had a great time with some both before and after the game.

Congrats. Enjoy and savor the Championship.
