Congrats on your Big Sky Conference Tournament win. It's one of the most under rated conferences in college basketball. Actually played against a few kids that play in that conference so it's fun for me to watch the games. Hopefully you have not got a bad vibe from any of my fellow Jayhawkers and I just wanted to drop by and say Congrats for making the Big Dance. Also wondering if anyone is going to be making the long journey out to Omaha? Best of luck to your guys on Thursday night.

Wish I could make the trip to Omaha, lovely place to visit. However, I have finals this week.

Much respect for KU, thanks for visiting!

Man, airfare is brutal to Omaha from PDX on a couple of days notice.

If you think $495.50 from PDX to Omaha is brutal (per hotwire.com)...

...try $778 from Boise to Birmingham! Can't believe BSU won the WAC tournament.

Congrats on making the tourney! It will be a great experience for the players and fans!

If any of you are making the trip to Omaha, let me know if you have any questions about the city. I am from the Big O (even tho I now make my home in KS).

Enjoy the ride!!

Airfare's brutal with any kind of notice. you guys should have been seeded higher but her's to a good game with no injuries.

Thanks for all the congrats, and thanks for being so respectful, Kansas fans! /users/31/07/37/smiles/595146.gif

The allotment of PSU tickets was sold out Sunday night. So some of us will be there.

If any of you get the chance to make the trip to Omaha their are two things you should check out:

1. Omaha Steak Company. If you like great steak there are few places with better cuts.

2. SAC Museum. If you are an airplane or flight buff at all the old SAC base has many amazing aircraft on display and some rare ones too including the SR-71 Blackbird. Very cool.

Congrats to your squad and hope to see some of you in Omaha!

I've been to Omaho and it is a nice midwest town. Everybody was very friendly and the food was great. Only complaint was the wind. You guys need some mountains to slow down those gusts!

You can't? They won the regular season title.

Hello Vikings!

Sounds like you all have a lot of football tradition ... June Jones and Chris Peterson.

(I'm a bit of an oddity, having been a rabid KU football fan for a while, but partly because I lived in Florida for a few years)

I saw that you did not have a basketball program for a few years, but re-instated it about a decade ago.

Congrats and welcome to the Big Dance!

Sorry, but the mountains spoil the view.

Seriously, congratulations on your win and have fun in Omaha.

I'd also like to offer my congratulations to the PSU Vikings for their first-ever appearance in the Big Dance. I look forward to learning more about your team in the next few days.

Speaking of windy cities, Lawrence can also have crazy gusts - especially when one's on the hilly campus that is KU.

Bad news: the airfares will get worse.

Good news: the Vikings will get better!

The airfares are getting worse. I was looking at air fare prices of anywhere from $900.00 to $2,000.00 tonight. They were a lot cheaper Sunday night, but I wasn't sure I was going. I finally gave up and used up all my mileage points........Omaha, Nebraska !!! I hope it's better than Ogden, Utah !! /users/31/07/37/smiles/269784.gif

Oh, well, we're going for the experience !!

Four-way draw for the title, out of which Boise got the 4th seed in the conference tournament, and had to beat Utah State and New Mexico State in the semis and finals. Both schools swept Boise State during the regular season.

Did it in Las Cruces, no less. With mirrors and Reggie Larry.

I still don't believe it.

Hey PSU fans, I'm a Kansas fan and grad living in Omaha.

If you make the trip to Omaha, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's a great city with its own flavor, and has a population of nearly 1 million in the metro area.

Must see:
The Old Market District - bars and great resaturants - walking distance from Qwest
Casinos - in Council Bluffs on the Iowa side
Museums
etc.
