Congratulations Ronnie Hamlin!

Ronnie set a career tackling record yesterday. He has given 6 years of outstanding service to the Eagle program.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I'm sure many of you have fond memories of specific events in his career. Lets make this a thread Ronnie can come to and share those memories.

One of the very best. :notworthy:

Favorite memories are the big pick 6 from the UND game and against Oregon State last year, but honestly, there's so many to choose from. He played a whale of a game yesterday.

Congrats to Ronnie "Hammer" Hamlin and thanks for representing our University and program so well the past 6 years.

I guess I always think about the off-the-field Ronnie... The guy you never had to worry about making news of the bad nature, quiet and unassuming, leading with his actions and the HAIR (and the story of the bet that led to it)! Not saying there weren't many, many plays to choose from, just like to know there's a good guy under the helmet. :notworthy:

He had an awfully good game to go along with the record yesterday. In general, our linebackers were dominant. In fact, with basically two starting CBs out for the season (Cange and Tucker) and then Wadood temporarily hurt and out of the game... That's when Montana threw their two long TD passes. Take those two two drives out of the game and it might not have been that close.

While we're at it, congrats to Jake Hoffman for breaking the single game record for passes broken up. In fact, I'd bet you won't see anyone in the country smack down three in a row all year, anywhere.

Congratulations Ronnie (Thor) Hamllin, well deserved and a true leader. Thanks for all the memories and for those that will come the rest of the season!!!!!!
