Has this been brought up here yet?

I saw he posted it on Instagram that he's transferring to a CC in Arizona: https://instagram.com/p/287po8zaym/?taken-by=crichh16" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

eaglewatcher Jim reported this before the last spring scrimmage. With Gage Gubrud doing so well it may be apparent there will not be a lot of playing time. If his statement is any indication of his maturity he will go far in life. Very impressive.

Good luck to Conner and hope he gets to play...that's what its' all about. Now, looks like we have three QB's left and didn't sign one for next season. Kinda thin...perhaps a transfer coming?

Obzerver,
Conner Richardson, could have been a great QB, had he stayed. He wants to be a starter. We all wish him the best of luck. We are supposed to have a QB walking on from Bellingham, forgot his name, from the same place as Spencer Blackburn. Hope he doesn't change his mind. Have a great weekend. Vic Wallace

Richardson was looking to be the number four quarterback. That's really saying something for a quarterback of his talent. I would say Richardson was better than Vitto, the 2013 number two.

Certainly says something about our quarterback depth. The beginning of 2015 is going to be very suspenseful. We will likely take a step back, but it won't be very big/significant. The guys filling for VA are going to be great.

I'm not sure why we would wish for a transfer. We will be just fine at the QB position, these guys know the system and culture far better than someone coming in and starting fresh.

clawman, with no signed QB coming in next year depth could be an issue. Yes, plenty of talent with the three we have now. An injury in fall camp or at the first of the season and we are in a dangerous position with just two QB's...don't even want to think about two injuries. A transfer could give us a bit of depth.

I'd have to double check, but I'm almost certain that we've got a QB coming in as a preferred walk-on.

My comment was in reference to a drop down, I would expect we would continue to recruit under classmen but that may be difficult with such quality players in front.

clawman, and All
Here are some information from the Bellingham Herald: QB Christian Jorgenson, Squalicum, HS, is a preferred Walk-on, he had offers from other schools, and choose EWU over WSU. His stats from High School is 2,851 yards passing, threw for 33 Touch downs. He loves competing, and will be ready for when he arrives at EWU. He stated he fell in love with the Coach and are once he came in for his Recruiting Trip. Thanks to my friend Neal, he got the information to me. Neal is a Magician when it comes to Sports Information. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :nod: :nod: :nod: .

Conner Richardson had nothing but good things to say about EWU, his Team Mates, and Coaches. He just want to get a chance to start. Good luck Connor Richardson. Vic Wallace

Thanks for the info Vic. He looks like a good one indeed. They must not list preferred walk-ons when they sign on LOI day unless he signed later (didn't know they even signed). http://www.goeags.com/sports/m-footbl/2014-15/releases/15fbRECRUITS" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I believe both he and West were on partials last season. I think, as of last year, 3 schollies were devoted to QBs. Adams had one, Hennessy had one, and West and Richardson each had a half.
