costly penalty

Pats won due to a silly penalty, I can not believe #55 would line up in the neutral zone and cost his team a trip to the Super Bowl. If not for that the Chiefs would have an interception and run the clock out is regulation.
5 yds in the stat sheet, Super Bowl trip in reality!

Penalties really get you fired up, don't they? Can't say I disagree. The play we had against NDSU where we didn't get on the line of scrimmage really set us back. Games are often decided by one little snafu. I guess it goes to show how important discipline is in football. There aren't too many sports where a single mistake can absolutely change the direction of the game. Only soccer and hockey come to mind as other examples just because a single goal can be so important.
